Born in Hampstead and living in London Lorraine really enjoyed visiting David’s parents in Norton, Suffolk. On many occasions when David was abroad she would spend time on her own. Thus getting to know my parents very well. She loved getting involved in everything and helping out. One Christmas holiday when we were all staying at the house Peggy, my mother said she needed some  sprouts for lunch. Lorraine said “ i will dig them up” much to the amusement of all in thr kitchen. She soon got to grips with gardening after that embarrassment.
